From the article, "Last week in Michigan, Obama visited plants operated by GM and Chrysler, the two companies that received most of the $85 billion in government aid from Obama and the administration of his predecessor, President George W. Bush."
The option was to put an estimated 1 million people (auto workers and suppliers) out of work. The Auto bailouts were done about 3 months after Wall Street was bailed out.
I'd be interested in reading what those that are critical of the Auto bailouts would have done had they been in a position to do something.
